Nokia have announced the official price of the Nokia Booklet to be €575 which works out at $816 USD pre subsidized. It is quite a high price but due to the integrated data connection we could see many mobile phone providers subsidizing it quite a bit to shift units when it is launched.
SlashGear also managed to get a hands-on with the device showing a pre-production unit. The pre-production unit was running Windows 7 and there was a bit of occasional sluggishness although this could be just related to drivers not being fully complete for the final version. [click to continue…]

Pocket-Lint have also got some details on the specs from Intel. The Booklet is to include an Intel 1.6GHz Atom Z530 chipset that will also be responsible for powering the 720p HD screen. Unfortunately the Atom chipset isn’t the best for the job in the case of HD, but it still does do the job and will help keep costs down. Two more pictures after the jump. [click to continue…]

Today the Nokia Booklet was announced and already, Nokia have posted a video (a rendering) on Youtube giving us a look at what it’s all about.
